some shots done Thursday [9/25/08] in Shreveport at municipal auditorium where they used to broadcast the "Louisiana Hayride" - many stars 'got their start' there- i.e. hank williams, elvis etc.- there's some elvis [and other] memorabilia on display w/o the crass commercialism/greed of graceland [where they want to suck every penny they can from elvis's memory]- some interetsing stuff from the hayride, and other stars. the building in itself, is a treasure. hopefully it wont get torn down, like the rest of OLD downtown shreveport. it's being razed in the name of progress.[c] 2008 doug duffey
