natchez drive through

mammys cupboard- she used to be black but has been painted politically correct "pink"

malt shop

abandoned row houses

mansion on the hill

the old and beautiful cemetery on a bluff by the mississippi

old house with tons of junk [decorations] in the yard and on the porch

details of the junk

yet another mansion on a hill

it was getting late sunday [9/28/08] by the time i reached natchez- so only had time to do some drive by shots with the digital camera from the car. natchez in the fall [and it felt like fall] when the light is
softer and more golden, is beautiful. of course i also love 'the funk' - the falling down buildings and old things in the disappearing old south- i'm trying to preserve images of those things while i can.
